Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander, Crown Princess Katherine and TRH’s daughter Alison hosted traditional Christmas receptions for more than 1,200 children without parental care.
Children without parental care, Roma children, refugee children and children with disabilities, aged three to twelve, from homes and associations throughout Serbia, had the opportunity to share the joy of Christmas with Their Royal Highnesses at the White Palace. His Grace Bishop Arsenije of Toplica explained to the children the true meaning of Christmas and its significance.
During the day, there were three receptions that the children enjoyed with wonderful gifts and Santa Claus, Christmas music program, animators of the studio “Cigra” and musical program by the children’s choir “Carolija”.
H.E. Mr. Hossein Molla Abdollahi, ambassador of Iran, Chief Imam of Belgrade ef. Ramadan Mehmedi, the Lifeline Chicago member of the board of directors, Dona Sekulich, Jordan Steiger, the Lifeline Chicago ambassador and Daniela Celikovic, the Lifeline New York representative helped Their Royal Highnesses deliver the presents to the children. On this occasion, LG company donated one TV device to the Center for development of social care services „Kneginja Ljubica“ from Kragujevac.
The receptions’ organization was greatly helped by Lifeline Chicago Humanitarian Organization; whose patron is HRH Crown Princess Katherine as well as by many donors that included:
