Princess Katherine delivers humanitarian aid to flood victims in Krupanj Municipality

Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Katherine and Mrs Kathy Fanslow, President of Lifeline Chicago Humanitarian Organization whose Patron is HRH Crown Princess Katherine, visited today three villages in Krupanj Municipality and delivered humanitarian aid for 65 families in Mojkovic and Brstica who suffered great losses during floods last May.

HRH Crown Princess Katherine and Mrs Kathy Fanslow were welcomed by Mr Aleksandar Zeljkic, head of Municipality of Krupanj, Mr Pavle Zivanovic, chief of unit for emergency response, and Mrs Dusica Zeljic, coordinator for distribution of humanitarian aid. They visited several families and spent a few hours talking with people and listening to problems they still have in coping with the consequences of the disaster. “I am here today, with my friend Kathy Fanslow, President of Lifeline Chicago Humanitarian Organization. Our people who live in the Diaspora always do their best to help our people, and Lifeline Chicago has been collecting humanitarian aid for people in Serbia for years, and I am very grateful for that” said Crown Princess Katherine talking to villagers.

HRH Crown Princess Katherine and Mrs Kathy Fanslow brought hygienic parcels, food and kitchen utensils, pillows, blankets, towels, backpacks for school children.

HRH Crown Princess Katherine and Mrs Kathy Fanslow delivered humanitarian aid to Obrenovac yesterday and tomorrow they will visit Bijeljina and deliver humanitarian aid to 90 families.
