Patients at the Clinic for oncology in Knez selo will go from now on for radiation treatment to Nis everyday, thanks to today’s donation of a car by Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine. Beside the car, the Royal couple also donated two air conditioners to the clinic.
Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine visited the Clinic for Oncology in Knez selo last week, on the occasion of renovation of two separate apartments and replacement of windows in one department. The Royal couple was then informed that Clinic has serious problems with the transportation of patients for radiation therapy in Nis, due to the lack of cars. Their Royal Highnesses promised that they will do their best to provide a vehicle as soon as possible. The car was bought last Friday, and today it will be delivered to the Clinic for Oncology in Knez selo. Beside the car, the Royal couple will donate two air conditioners to the clinic.
Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine traditionally help the functioning of the Clinic for Oncology in Knez selo. 100,000 EUR were invested in the renovation of the ward for palliative care, that bears the name of Princess Katherine, and that money was raised thanks to Lifeline Humanitarian Organization from London, whose Patron is Princess Katherine.
