KEEP OUR CHILDREN HEALTHY!

Thanks to the great efforts of HRH Crown Princess Katherine to provide the children in Serbia with the safest possible schooling during the COVID-19 pandemic and to help the schools in their quest to provide a healthy and safe learning environment, hand disinfectants and basic hygiene products worth 20,000 Euros were delivered to educational institutions.

As part of the “Keep Our Children Healthy” project, the Crown Princess Katherine Foundation donated soap dispensers and napkin dispensers, as well as consumables in 95 schools in 22 municipalities.

“This project was created with the desire to provide children with the necessary hygienic protection, especially in these difficult times when we are fighting a global COVID-19 pandemic. The well-being of our children is my priority and I try to help educators as much as possible to have everything they need to maintain a high level of preventive protection, as well as to enable children to feel completely safe in their schools again. This pandemic has affected us all, but we must do everything we can to enable children to have as carefree childhood as possible, and to be able to learn and acquire new knowledges without worrying about their health”, said HRH Crown Princess Katherine.

In cooperation and with the support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Technological Development, the HRH Crown Princess Katherine Foundation managed to help the schools that had the greatest need for support. The schools in the municipalities of Belgrade, Novi Sad, Nis, Valjevo, Leskovac, Krusevac, Kragujevac, Kraljevo, Pozarevac, Jagodina, Cacak, Kula, Uzice, Smederevo, Obrenovac, Jagodina, Titel, Novi Pazar, Loznica, Prokuplje, Subotica and Kosovska Kamenica have received the necessary equipment, which will enable the children to maintain hygiene in the school premises.
