CROWN PRINCESS KATHERINE AND LIFELINE CHICAGO DONATION TO IVANJICA HIGH SCHOOL DORMITORY

Lifeline Humanitarian Organization of Chicago and HRH Crown Princess Katherine Foundation have continued their mission of providing assistance to the people of Serbia, and youth of Serbia. This most recent donation supports the needs of high school students in the city of Ivanjica, Serbia.

Guided by the importance to provide the pupils of this dormitory with better living conditions, the following items were donated to this institution: 70 bed covers, pillows, and complete bedding sets, and new video equipment.  This donation was made possible by the continued generosity of Mrs. Nada Stevens, who together with her late husband, Mr. David Stevens, is a long-time dedicated supporter of Lifeline Chicago.

As computer/digital literacy is paramount for today’s youth, four computers, a colour printer, additional ink cartridges, and five large bundles of computer paper were provided to this dormitory thanks to a very generous donation from Ms. Ann Marie Pujo.

“I am very grateful to Mrs. Nada Stevens, and Ms. Ann Marie Pujo who have made this very important donation possible by their love and willingness to help.  Thanks to Lifeline Chicago and my Foundation in Belgrade, high school children from this dormitory know that we always thinking of them. By providing children with better living conditions, with new equipment we support their future, and by doing so, the future of our country.” said HRH Crown Princess Katherine.

Ms. Ljiljana Djokovic, Director of the High School Dormitory in Ivanjica, expressed her gratitude to the Crown Princess, to Lifeline Chicago, as well as to Mrs. Nada Stevens and to Ms. Ann Marie Pujo saying, “Your donation is very important to us and helps to improve the conditions of the student residents of this institution, as well as for their further education.”
