Crown Princess Katherine visits the Shelter for adults together with Lifeline Chicago young ambassadors

Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Katherine visited the Shelter for adults in Kumodraška Street in Belgrade, together with the young ambassadors of Lifeline Humanitarian Organization from Chicago who are on a several-day humanitarian mission to Serbia. Lifeline Humanitarian Organization  Patron is HRH Crown Princess Katherine.

Within the framework of this visit to the Shelter, members of the Lifeline Chicago Humanitarian Organization handed over donations that included blankets, pillows, quilts, hygiene products and food, to the general manager of the institution Mr. Prvoslav Nikolic. Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Katherine and her humanitarian organizations traditionally help the functioning of the Shelter for adults.

During the day, representatives of the Lifeline Chicago Humanitarian Organization will visit the psychiatric hospital in Kovin, to which they traditionally send aid each year. This time they will deliver 100 mattresses, 100 pillows and 100 packets of sheets.

In addition to Kovin, representatives of Lifeline Humanitarian Organization from Chicago today will also visit the home for children without parental care “Spomenak” in Pancevo. Every year for Christmas and Easter this humanitarian organization sends help in the form of clothes, shoes, toys and food, and this time, too, the children will receive gifts.

Upon returning from Pancevo the young Lifeline humanitarian mission ambassadors will visit a Belgrade shelter for children, and the Home for Children and Youth “Vasa Stajić” which they also traditionally help every year, and gifts and donations will be delivered.

Lifeline humanitarian mission will be very active tomorrow, too, and together with Crown Princess Katherine they will visit Zabrežje near Obrenovac to deliver assistance in the form of household appliances to the residents whose homes were damaged last year in the May floods.
