Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Katherine accompanied with representatives of LG Electronics Serbia officially delivered two new washing machines to the medical staff of the Special Hospital for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Neurology in Sokobanjska Street in Belgrade.
“I am very happy to be back in Sokobanjska with these wonderful people. The previous time we opened a sensory and therapeutic room worth more than 18,000 euros, and this time with the help of friends from LG company, we also brought two new, very necessary, washing machines. I am sure that this donation will make everyday life easier for doctors and patients, and I hope that we will soon meet again and be able to help you again”, said HRH Crown Princess Katherine.
Donated LG washing machines are the most modern type of production, with a large capacity of 9 kilograms, have a “spa steam” special function for removing allergens from the clothes, and their total value is more than 130,000 dinars. On this occasion LG company also announced that they will donate another dryer machine to Sokobanjska, which makes total value of this donation more than 250,000 dinars.
“As a socially responsible company, we have the task to point out the importance of caring for the youngest, and that is why we are very proud that we have the opportunity to help the Special Hospital for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Neurology in Belgrade. We hope that the washing machines that we are donating today will make it easier for the employees, as well as for the parents who are staying with their children here. I thank the Crown Princess Katherine Foundation for allowing us to participate in something that is one of our priorities, which is a fight for the health of children”, said Mr. Branislav Jordanov, Marketing Manager of LG Electronics in Serbia.
On this occasion, HRH Crown Princess Katherine also delivered toys and books for the youngest patients at the Sokobanjska hospital.
