Lifeline Humanitarian Organization of Chicago, which is under the patronage of HRH Crown Princess Katherine, delivered an essential donation to The Vasa Stajic Home for Children. This incredibly generous donation was made possible by the tireless efforts of The Three Kolo Group (the Circle of Serbian Sisters of St. George in Joliet, Illinois, the Circle of Serbian Sisters Kneginja Zorka of St. Archangel Michael in Lansing, Illinois, and the Circle of Serbian Sisters of St. Archangel Michael in Lansing, Illinois), including various kitchen items, and 25 sets of colorful bed linens.
Provided aid will greatly assist the Home in providing and preparing nutritious meals for the children. The brand new donated kitchen items include 30 full sets/full place settings of dishes (30 large dinner plates, 30 smaller bread/salad/dessert plates, 30 individual soup bowls, etc.), 30 full sets of flatware (30 spoons, 30 forks, and 30 knives), 15 large salad bowls, 15 large fruit bowls, two large baking and serving dishes, two frying pans, a large cooking pot, cutlery, ladles, an appliance for warming food, and two large toasters.
In addition, 25 new sets of vibrant bed linens were donated to ensure that the children have comfortable and clean bedding.
