The Kingdom of Serbia, a monarchist association whose patron is HRH Crown Prince Alexander, organized a tenth humanitarian mission over the weekend of August 17-19, touring the most important shrines and visiting Serbs in the enclaves in Kosovo and Metohija, where they delivered necessary humanitarian aid to the most vulnerable families.
The visit was organized with the assistance of the Government of Serbia’s Office for Kosovo and Metohija, and humanitarian aid was largely provided by the funds raised by Lifeline Chicago Humanitarian Organisation, whose patron is HRH Crown Princess Katherine.
The humanitarian mission consisted of 40 members of the Kingdom of Serbia Association who visited the Gorioc Monastery near Istok, the Patriarchate of Pec, Visoki Decani, shrines of Velika Hoca, Decani Vinica, Holy Archangels, Our Lady of Ljevis, St. George’s Temple, Theology school, town of Prizren, and 3 Serb enclaves near Gnjilane – the villages of Partes, Pasjan and Budrige, as well as the monasteries of Draganac, Gracanica and Banja, and the town of Kosovska Mitrovica.
Humanitarian aid delivered to 5 most vulnerable families – Kazic from Orahovac, Stojkovic from Partes, Simic from Pasjan, and the Andjelkovic and Simic families from Budrig – consists of essential household appliances, food and home products, and school supplies and toys for 16 children from these families.
