The Lifeline Humanitarian Organization of Chicago, whose Patron is Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Katherine, has made a significant donation of food and supplies to support vulnerable Serbian families in Banja Luka and Trebinje in Republika Srpska. This essential assistance aims to alleviate hardship for those in need, particularly in light of the ongoing economic challenges faced by these communities.
Forty-one households in Trebinje received food packages, delivered with the help of dedicated volunteers from the Saint Vukasin Foundation. These deliveries provided families with much-needed nourishment and essential supplies during a particularly difficult time. Additionally, thanks to the collaboration between the HRH Crown Princess Katherine Foundation in Belgrade and the Social Services Center of Banja Luka, food packages were distributed to 60 households in the city. This initiative is part of Lifeline’s ongoing efforts to aid those in need, improve the quality of life for vulnerable families, and provide assistance where it is most urgently required.
Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Katherine, a long-standing advocate for humanitarian causes, expressed her gratitude for the efforts of all those involved in the donation. “This donation represents the spirit of solidarity and kindness that binds us all together,” said Crown Princess Katherine. “I am deeply touched by the generosity of Lifeline Chicago and the tireless work of local volunteers. This donation would not have been possible without the incredible efforts of our generous donors. Together, we are making a real difference in the lives of families in need.”
