Continuing the mission of providing help to the Serbian Health System, HRH Crown Princess Katherine through her Foundation in Belgrade delivered today much needed medical equipment to the Clinic for Vascular and Endovascular Surgery of the University Clinical Centre of Serbia.
A new electronic device is designed to be used in very complex surgeries and will significantly help the work of our doctors. The representatives of the Crown Princess Foundation, who delivered the equipment on behalf of Her Royal Highness, were welcomed by Prof. Dr Dušan Kostić and Ass. Prof. Dr. Marko Dragaš, the current and future Head of the Clinic, and Ass. Prof. Dr. Igor Končar, Head of the Operating Block of the Clinic for Vascular and Endovascular Surgery, who started the initiative for this donation.
“It is our duty, to always be there for the people of Serbia and the Republic of Srpska, and I am grateful for the opportunity to help our people. We must never stop supporting our healthcare institutions. We have great doctors and nurses, who have excellent knowledge and skills, but also the devotion and determination to help their patients. It is important to do whatever we can to support them on their mission, as it is the most noble life path of saving lives”, stated HRH Crown Princess Katherine.
