Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine started their humanitarian mission to Ottawa with a visit to St. Stefan Serbian Orthodox Church. This was followed by a tour of Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario in order to establish a cooperation and help children from Serbia.
Their Royal Highnesses were welcomed by H.E. Mihailo Papazoglu, Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Canada. After visiting St. Stefan Serbian Orthodox Church where they met Serbian children with their parents, Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine also visited Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario where they were talking to Mr. Alex Munter, President and CEO of CHEO, regarding new humanitarian activities and helping children.
Their Royal Highnesses had a charity dinner at St. Stefan Banquet and Event Centre where they continued raising funds for the people from Serbia.
On Monday, Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine met Dr. Roseann O’Reilly Runte, the President and Vice-Chancellor of Carleton University, in order to make new contacts and projects in the field of education.
